External Shutters
ShutterLand sells two louvered external
shutter styles. The narrow
louver wood shutter panel uses a 1-1/4" fixed louver.
The wide louver wood
shutter panel uses a 1-3/4" fixed louver. Both shutter
styles are built of solid Incense Cedar. The wood shutters
are built to withstand external weather conditions. The panels
are sold as unfinished wood ready to paint or stain. The available
panel widths start at 12 inches and are built up to 24 inches.
The available external shutter heights start at 18 inches
and are built up to 84 inches. The stiles and rails are glued
and doweled for strength on one inch centers. A divider rail
is optional within each shutter panel. A divider rail divides
the shutter into two louver sections, top and bottom.
ShutterLand external shutters are designed to be functional with external shutter hardware.
These solid wood external shutters are perfect for new houses,
renovated homes, and historic buildings.
ShutterLand will soon be offering wood board and batten
shutters, wood raised panel shutters, and external shutters
with both fixed louvers and raised panels.
Using the available external
hardware, the external wood shutters can be made operable.
