Shutter hardware is essential to making your wood exterior shutters functional.

Shutter caps keep moisture from the top of the shutter panel. Shutter caps are sold in the same widths as the exterior shutter panels from 12" to 24". The caps can be painted to match the outside shutters.

Shutter hardware is solid metal and is designed to be functional and visually appealing. Shutter hinges are used to attach the shutter to the house or building and open or close the shutter panels. Shutter hinges are offered in a variety of sizes and configurations. Shutter dogs are designed to hold the shutter panels in an open position. Shutter dogs are mounted using either a lag bolt, plate, or to the sill with an arm. Bolts and fasteners are designed to keep the shutters in a closed position.
